CM Buck & Associates
What is a diversified, innovative company, began with the talent and passion of a mechanical engineer, Chauncey M. Buck. CM Buck & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1941 in Indianapolis and has since expanded to service the Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio markets. Now, nearly 80 years after the company’s inception, we are proud to carry on Chauncey’s legacy by upholding a high level of technical and engineering support to our customers.
In 1953, Chauncey’s son-in-law, Denton E. Hall, joined the company. As a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in electrical engineering, including an emphasis on illumination, Denton’s vision and innovative thinking helped the formation of CM Buck’s Power and Lighting divisions. In 1961, Denton assumed full ownership of the company with the philosophy for the future of the company that is still maintained today: Regardless of how diversified the company becomes, CM Buck continues to specialize in every aspect of our various divisions. This assures our customer are receiving the highest level of service and support.
In 1988, Daniel S. (Dan) Hall became president of CM Buck and in 1990 became full owner. In 1999, the company restructured to create managing partners. Serving in those roles are: Steven Hall, Vice President of the Power Division; Karl Fancher, Vice President of the OEM Division; David Simpson, Vice President of the Lighting Division. By continuing the tradition of innovation and specialization, the managing partners have kept CM Buck on the cutting edge of future technologies.
Today, CM Buck spans four generations and remains focused on our customers’ needs, going above and beyond to find the right solution, with the right product, while providing excellent follow-up service. It is imperative our customers are completely satisfied with the products and services we provide. We pride ourselves on being knowledgeable about our products and having a full understanding of old, current and future technologies in our respective areas.
