Project Details:
When it was decided that Wishard Hospital needed a new home, a stringent selection of the best constructors and product manufacturers were asked to bid on a hospital project unlike anything Indianapolis had ever seen. At the end of the project Wishard was left with a new name and one of the largest and most impressive emergency power systems in the city of Indianapolis. In addition to equipment, ASCO provided a Critical Power Monitoring System or CPMS to monitor and log all of the power systems events. This package included a Joint Commissions Reporting package that makes monthly generator and transfer switch testing a breeze. For their emergency power needs, Eskenazi Health trusted ASCO Power Technologies & CM Buck.
Solution Provided:
Forty automatic transfer switches and generator paralleling switchgear and controls for five 2.5MW generators, all by ASCO Power Technologies. The system provides 5MW of priority one loads to this critical facility in less than 10 seconds.
