When Toyota Motor Manufacturing plants in Georgetown, KY, and Princeton, IN, experienced electrical problems, they called us to solve the problem. Ultimately, we determined that a field modified bus plug that shorted-out was causing the outages that threatened to shut down production lines. Our solution revamped the way power was delivered to the damaged line and provides continued reliable power for their manufacturing team.
Solution Provided:
We worked with Action Equipment Solutions, Inc. to install a Starline Track Busway to reliably deliver power through the auto manufacturing line and multiple movable, insulated bus plugs to transmit power from the busway to their specialized machinery. With the modular, move as needed busway solution from Starline, Toyota can adapt to almost any power requirement they have on the line.
